Oliver’s Market — 9230 Old Redwood Hwy, Windsor — A wonderful local, employee-owned market with an impressive selection of local products, prepared foods, produce, meat and seafood. It’s our go-to grocery store, about 2 miles south of the house.
Big John’s Market — 1345 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg — Another excellent local market, on the north end of Healdsburg. The meat and cheese departments are particularly good, and it’s a great place to pick up marinated meats for the grill.
Safeway — There are two convenient Safeway locations, one south of the house in Windsor at 9080 Brooks Rd S and one north in Healdsburg at 115 Vine St.
Journeyman Meat Co. — 404 Center St, Healdsburg — An exceptional old-world butcher shop and salumeria with an outstanding selection of handcrafted meats and salumi. There’s also a small café and wine selection, making it a particularly good place to pick up something special for dinner at the house.
Santa Rosa Seafood — 946 Santa Rosa Ave, Santa Rosa — A bit of a trek to Santa Rosa, but worth the trip if you're looking for fresh seafood to cook at the house. They offer a large selection of fresh fish and shellfish, including sushi-grade seafood.
Healdsburg Certified Farmers’ Market — The farmers market is a great place to find local produce, flowers, cheese, honey, olive oil, bread, fish, meat, eggs and prepared foods, along with local crafts. It has moved to the Foley Family Community Pavilion at 3 North Street, just a short walk from Healdsburg Plaza.

Downtown Healdsburg — The streets surrounding Healdsburg Plaza are filled with interesting shops, art galleries, antique stores, bookstores and specialty shops. It’s worth spending an hour or two simply wandering around downtown.
